Went there for the first time Last weekend and i thought it was brilliant,

Wide room, high ceiling. large smoking area, perfect, i especially like all the posters above the bar showing past bands and performers they have had play there:
radiohead 1993,
Amy Winehouse 2004. WOW!

even had a seperate bar just selling Cans for £2.50.

What can you say about The Fleece! Brilliant Venue would sum it up. Street parking outside or within walking distance. Big Old BAR down one side and a small bottler bar on the other. NEW Toilets and free drinking water on show on the bar. Something on every night and well worth a visit.Great crowd great atmosphere and their policy is we Do Not Tolerate Idiots. Safe for under 14s if the band content permits as long as they leave at curfew time. We've taken a nine year old there before and they had a great time. I say again Great Venue.

This is a great venue to see bands in a real old fashioned club that brings you close to the band. They have a full bar and getting served is easy unlike some venues. Getting to the toilets can be difficult through the crowd, but if you want to see music as it should be, then go to the Fleece .

Have seem many gigs here. The venue is small enough to feel intimate and for the bands to build up a good rapport with the audience but also not pokey and with a good view of the stage from most of the venue. A good range of bands on and located right in the heart of Bristol. Would recommend to others for a night out.

There's no better place to watch a band in Bristol than this. Big enough to attract decent names, but small enough that you can actually see them play.
Most recently saw Blue Aeroplanes, Bristol's finest, play - they never disappoint.
