We had an hour long lesson in a small group, which was excellent, and were then allowed to wander and climb round at our leisure. The staff and facilities are top notch. Can't comment on the cafe as we didn't have anything to eat. It was very crowded, but as total beginners we didn't feel intimidated. There was plenty of space and opportubity for all levels of ability. I found this type of climbing, "bouldering" much harder than outdoor climbing because all of the climbing walls have some level of angle, so there is no point at whicb you can rest all your weight on your legs. It uses a lot more upper body strength than I have at the moment but I am looking forward to trying again.
