I can't believe I have been in Bristol for over 30 years and have missed out on this wonderful local restaurant. This is a small, intimate restaurant run by two people who clearly just enjoy sharing their love of food. The menu is varied enough to cater for most tastes but everything is done with a twist in the owners' unique style. I doubt if a recipe is ever used they are not needed. There is a fixed price and an a la carte menu and you can mix and match between the two. We started with the best carrot and coriander soup I have ever tasted then I had a gorgeous slow cooked beef tagine followed by a chocolate pudding to die for. Sadly the owners are planning to retire in November so make sure you make a date to visit this unique Bristol treasure before it disappears. I should finally say great value.
