“Quick and tasty lunch”

Good option to lunch in St Nicholas' market. Very nice and assorted pies with sides. From what we've seen, no alcohol is served in all the market...

“The last pie”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

Depressed after a look at the Great Britain (total let-down, don't go), I wandered over one gloomy afternoon to St Nicks market, where this cafe was still open. WHAT A FIND ! The only pie left was a Chicken of Aragon, so I had that. Delicious, reasonably priced, and served with a smile.

“Best Pie Ever!!!”
Reviewed 8 January 2014 via mobile

Found this place on a visit to St Nicks market. I don't usually like pie but this has converted me!! I had the daily special which was called "moo and blue" which was steak and Stilton and came with some mash, delicious minted mushy peas, the best red wine gravy with cheese and crispy onions on top and all for £5!! A must visit if you're in Bristol!!

“Great little place”
Reviewed 18 November 2013 via mobile

Our friend took as to St Nicholas market whilst visiting Bristol. There are lots of lovely foods to be tried. The pieminster was great comfort food on a cold novembers day! Its compact but we all sat in and all ordered the meal deal with varying choices of pie. They were all good and it was certainly a filling lunch. Quirky, no frills little place to go for an on the go sort of lunch. Would go again.

“Great range of pies”
Reviewed 13 November 2013 via mobile

Great cafe in the market with a wide range of pies to suit every taste. Eat in pies are served on tin plates in a cute cafe with 2 long tables seating about 10 people on each. I had a Christingle Pie - which had honey roasted parsnips and chestnuts served with minted peas and vegetarian red wine gravy. Felt very healthy (as far as any pie can be) and wholesome. Friendly staff who are very enthusiastic and welcoming. Not expensive either.
