“Great location in Bristol for a weekend away with friends”

12 of us stayed in this great house for a long weekend. It's in a perfect location near Clifton triangle, and a short walk one way to Clifton village and the suspension bridge or the other way into town.
Great big dining room / kitchen, with lots of light, on the ground floor, with doors out into the small garden. Comfortably fitted us all round the dining room table. Everything you need in the kitchen. Particularly good dishwasher! Nice sitting room up one floor, which we didn't really need to use as the weather was good and we were out most of the time.
Decent bedrooms and beds. Bathrooms and toilets fine too. All in all, can't fault it.
Even has recycling/bins at the end of the street which is easy for the end of your stay.
The owner was incredibly helpful throughout. Thankyou very much for a great stay - really helped to make a wonderful weekend.

This house is great for a group holiday. The bedrooms are big, bright, comfortable and clean whilst the kitchen / dining room space is perfectly set up to be the social hub of your stay. It's walking distance to town and the owner was really helpful and quick to answer any questions we had.

“Wonderful House for a Group”

12 of us stayed at the house for a long weekend and found the property to be warm, spacious, clean and in an excellent location. The kitchen has a large table with 14 chairs which is fantastic for big groups and is well equipped to cater for the large number. The only small negatives of the property were that in terms of crockery/glassware/pans etc we felt more could have been provided which would have greatly helped as we mostly cooked and ate in but saying that it was not an issue which affected us too much. This is a brilliant property for big groups who are keen to be close to the city (walking distance to the Triangle, Park Street and the Waterfront) and enjoy time in the plentiful communal space together.

“Fantastic house in a fantastic location.”
Reviewed 16 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

The Big Bristol House was perfect for our large group of friends. It's clean, modern and has anything one could need for a long stay. It's location meant town was never more that a 10 or 15 minute walk away across the park. And the kitchen is so well thought out that staying in to cook a large dinner for everyone is just as much fun as going out. We will certainly be returning in the future.

We stayed here for my friends hen weekend and it was perfect. The house was a great size sleeping the 12 of us and had all towelling and bedding provided (bed was very comfortable). It really had a nice cosy feel to it and was in such a perfect location we could walk to the harbour. I would definitely recommend this to any groups visiting Bristol, as it provides everything you need. Thanks

“Perfect for groups and the best of Bristol.”
Reviewed 22 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We had a reunion and were looking for a property that was good value, centrally located and could sleep 10-14. We were lucky to be able to book The Big Bristol House, it ticked all the right boxes, but when we arrived we were really impressed with the spacious and comfy bedrooms, beuatifully finished bathroom, and great social spaces where we could all cook and catch up. The kitchen is huge and well kitted out (we are gastronomiques and did a lot cooking) with large gas hobs and electric fan oven. The kitchen also gets wonderful light from the large sky-light, has lots of open space so we barely left it, only occasionally going up to the more intimate lounge (with a quality flat-screen TV). The location was only a few minutes walk from shops, bars, clubs, restaurants, Clifton, high street and the beautiful Brandon Hill Park behind Berekely Square but was still just far enough off the main street to be quiet at night. We'll certainly be booking again and recommend it.

“Absolutely fantastic house, great location”
Reviewed 10 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

The Big Bristol House is an absolutely fantastic place to stay - we'd certainly go back. From start to finish Joanna was so helpful with the booking for our hen party which really made such a difference. The house is in a great location - right next to the beautiful Brandon Hill, a short walk from shops and restaurants and a 5 min taxi into the bars and clubs on the harbourside.

It had everything we could want for the weekend - everything was basically brand new and spotlessly clean plus the house also has real character which made it really special. The beds, showers and cooking facilites were all great, and we really enjoyed spending a lot of the sunny weekend in the large kitchen/diner with the sun streaming in from the little garden.

My only recommendation to anyone staying would be to travel by train or ensure everyone groups together in cars as parking on the road really was limited and even then very tight to get in and out.
