Rooms are what you`d expect from the group although the staff are some of the best.
Breakfast is always good, however the only problem is the rooms that face the rear courtyard
There are certain rooms at the front which are doubled glazed and with secondary, but the ones at the back are single glazed.
Not a good experience and we use the hotel on a very regular basis.
Please someone take note of these comments

Room Tip: Higher floors and not facing the courtyard

Located right in the heart of city, by the river, in very beautiful and quiet place. Dining room in arranged in real very old pub next to hotel with direct entrance from hotel hall, no need to go outside, you may have a lunch or dinner too. A jazz club is in the next building, so if you like live music - it is a good choice. Rooms are standard for premier inn, clean. Windows are wooden- made, so it can be a bit noisy in mornings, but not disturbing too much.
In my personal case I booked a room with "river view" bit on arrival they had no such room, so I was placed to corner room with wonderful view to next building wall, sadly. Another surprise was that they have no hotel parking as described at booking page, just public parkings, luckily very close to hotel. Overall - it worth money they ask, recommended.

On the plus side...central location...nice big bed, clean room and bathroom...the breakfast was good. This is a chain, if you have stayed in one you generally know what to expect..the odds are there may be more noise outside or next door to your room as the stag/hen parties return from the night out. It is a tad bizarre that breakfast is served in the pub that has been incorporated into the building and does take a little bit of searching (no signs saying it is on the first floor rather than the ground). The woman who served me at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. I wasnt paying so I don't know if i'd be happy with the £85 plus £15 booking fee..all in all, not bad.

I book Premier Inn hotels as they have a reputation for having high standards for a budget price hotel. Not so this hotel in Bristol. Badly in need of refurbishment and decorating as it is shabby with worn carpets and dirty paintwork. The worst thing was the unpleasant smell inside the corridors and the room itself.

In addition breakfast was served in the adjoining pub which had been very busy the evening before. Trying to eat breakfast with the smell of alcohol is not a good combination, the carpets in the breakfast area were frankly a trip hazard as so worn and falling to pieces.

The Premier Inn staff were helpful but this was not consistent with some staff giving barely enough information on the hotel facilities and the room. No information in the room either on how to operate the air conditioning etc.
I certainly would not recommend this hotel at £85 per night there will be much better hotels to book. I would also now be hesitant in booking a Premier Inn again

Room Tip: Book a different hotel.

We also stayed here with no working key card, but the one receptionist was great, she really had to work hard and did so with a smile. The hotel itself is the average Premier Inn, comfortable bed, clean, right in the heart of Bristol with everything within walking distance. It has the very hot corridors and rooms that we have found elsewhere with Premier Inn. We kept our air con on almost all the time, although it wasn't hot outside. It must be very hard for the cleaners to work in this heat and must cost Premier Inn quite a lot in air con costs. We just stayed one night, Sunday, and it was not noisy. What with the heat and the key problem I really hope Premier Inn appreciate what excellent staff they have working for them!

Hotel was great and staff very helpful, but it spoilt by the fact we could they could not issue any door keys as the machine was broken, so the staff had to let every customer in their room. The Staff did all they could to help, but it was a pain to wait for someone at reception get into your room.

Premier Inn could not sort the issue for 48 hours as it was the weekend.

Nice place for a couple of nights, just try no to stay on weekends because it'll be noisy.
The sfaff was really kind and helpful. Prices were ok and even though I didn't use the restaurant service, I looked the menu and there was quite variety.
My only complain is about the internet connection, it should be free for guests but no, they charge 3 pounds per day.

Room Tip: Could be anyone but on weekends all of them will be noisy.
