We used this hotel as a base for visiting both Bath and Bristol. The location served our purposes. It was especially quick to get into the southern side of Bristol, for example to see the SS Great Britain. The hotel (motel really) was very basic, situated on the edge of a big car park also serving low budget restaurants like McDonalds and KFC. There is also a restaurant at the Premier Inn. There is no air conditioning at this particular Premier Inn and fans are supplied to address the problem, but you might be very uncomfortable there in the summer, so be warned. Housekeeping was spotty. Our two rooms were skipped one day because we slept until 10:30 (jet lag). The front desk staff tried to help but they usually said "Can you let management know about that problem? Our hands are tied." Finally, there was a planned power outage on our final day, but no one warned us in advance. It started at 10 am and we were still showering and trying to get organized for the day. Obviously the fans and internet went out as well. Because of Premier Inn's satisfaction guarantee, we were given one night's room refund (one night out of a total of six we had paid for). Better than nothing. Room bordered the parking lot and black out curtains were necessary to shut out the lights that were on all night.

We booked two nights with two young children, upon arrival a second bed and cot had already been made up and a fan running to cool down the room. The receptionist told us about the children's park just behind the gala bingo, and it was a great park just five minutes away. The room and bathroom were very clean and well decorated with enough space for the four of us. We ate in brewers fayre for breakfast and one meal all of which were very good. There is also a frankie and benny's, an oriental and cinema all within five minutes walk if that. Overall a good location for those travelling with children.

Room very clean and staff very helpful. However, room too warm and could not turn down temperature so had to open window, which as not a problem as fairly quiet location. The only issue was that neither tablet or smartphone could access the internet as there was a network problem for the duration of the stay. Though they staff did their best and were very helpful they could not sort the problem either. As only 30 minutes a day was provided free, went across the road to Frankie and Bennys to use theirs for a price of a coffee.

As it was my 50th birthday on 22nd June I planned to spend it away from home ,near the coast , so decided to spend the night before at this Premier Inn south of Bristol. We arrived around 9pm on 21st June . After a fast check in we had our meal at the Brewers Fayre next door which was excellent. The room was perfect for my family of 4 (inc 2 teenagers). It was very clean and spacious . The beds were very comfortable . The large screen LCD TV was a nice surprise . Staff were very friendly . The breakfast was served until 11am . Plenty of choice at the "all you can eat" buffet . The food was constantly being topped up . No complaints. Free car parking close to the entance. We left the Premier Inn around 11am and spent the day at Weston Super Mare. As an added bonus we watched the annual air show from the beach which included the Red Arrows & Vulcan bomber displays.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 28 at the end of the corridoor facing the car park

This is a fairly standard Premier Inn, about 30 minutes from Bristol Airport. We stayed one night checking in at about 11pm.

Check In: we prepaid, check in went ok, no errors, but we were very tired and the desk clerk was not as amusing as he thought he was. He actually gave misinformation about breakfast as a "joke".

No elevator, this is a 2 storey hotel but the stairs are awkward.

Rooms: Very clean and very spacious. Plenty of good lighting. Large bed, hairdryer, coffee/ tea making equipment, fan, TV.
Bathroom:reasonable size, good water pressure, clean, bath with shower attachment, good towels.

Breakfast: Next door at Brewers Fayre pub, 8.25 for full breakfast: Eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrown, mushrooms, baked beans, vegetarian sausage, plus cereal, yoghurt, pastries, toast, juice, tea / coffee.

Parking: Plenty when we got there, it is an entertainment complex so may not be so plentiful at other times

Checkout: Good.

Overall, decent quality standard Premier Inn.
