“Really friendly staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 October 2013

We have just returned from a 3 night stay here. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean with excellent sound proofing - we did not here the rain on the stormy night. We also booked the premier breakfast which was tasty and great value for money. We were served daily by a gentleman called John who was very helpful, efficient and friendly. The hotel also has a park very close by which is excellent for children of all ages - tots to teens.

This is obviously a Premier Inn. We have stayed in lots of them. They are good value and would normally rate an average. This one however gets 4 stars. Firstly because its location is right next to lots of eating establishments (I would say restaurants but there was a MacDonalds)! You can choose from Chinese, Italian, American or British. But, the main reason it gets 4 stars is because of two people. Firstly Tina the delightfully helpful receptionist who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable, and secondly because of John, the really helpful guy in Brewers Fayre (attached to Premier Inn ) where breakfast is served. He was so jolly, polite and couldn't do enough to make sure the whole family enjoyed breakfast. We were over from France and their assistance made our short stay so much more enjoyable, thanks to both of them.

Hotel was as always exceptional. Room lovely. Staff very nice. Rather disappointed in the restaurant and service. I ended up walking out and looking for somewhere else to eat. Luckily the hotel is situated in a business park with choice of different restaurants.

Chose location to be near family and was not disappointed. New or recently refurbished to a very high spec. Large, light airy room. No noise and, as usual, very comfortable bed. Attentive and interested staff made this stay both relaxing and enjoyable.

Room Tip: Ask for first floor overlooking the car park.

My partner and I stayed here for one night at the beginning of this month so we could get up for our 6am flight from Bristol Airport.

The staff were polite and friendly and the room was typical of a Premier Inn. Comfortable bed, large room, nice bathroom.

The location is great as you have multiple food establishments, a cinema and a bingo hall a stones throw away, a leisure centre around the corner and a 10-15 minute drive to the airport.

My only issues would be the loooong corridors and their strangely bouncy flooring.

Room Tip: If you struggle with walking, ask to be close to the lift as the corridors are incredibly long and t...

...and it was wonderful! We stayed here the night before my best friends wedding (I was maid of honour, my 3yo daughter was flowergirl) and we had a lovely, comfortable stay. Both ladies on check-in were so friendly and welcoming. As we kept popping in and out throughout the early evening there was always a friendly smile and a 'hello!' for us.

I think we stayed in room 30, top floor and right by the stairs anyway. My daughter's bed was sooooooooo comfy! I was expecting a camp-bed affair so was really surprised to find it was a converted sofa! Really impressed, I like your furniture choice!!

Breakfast next door that morning was good, very peaceful with a brilliant choice.

All in all, I would happily book Premier Inn again when we visit other cities!

This is the second time I have stayed here because of work. A very clean hotel. No air com though but there was a large fan in the room. The staff are great will help with anything. I wanted a ground floor room and it was sorted straight away. The food from the Brewers Fare next door is standard pub food. OK but not cheep though. I will stay here again as it is also a good price. But book early as it fills up quickly.
