Hotel is located central, walking distance from the university and the water front. The room is basic, the bed is comfortable, coffee and tea making facility and a TV. The free wifi seams to be so slow (as I was told by the reception guy), it didn't work with me anyway. Liked that the floor is laminate and not carpet, which makes it cleaner. The whole bathroom looked to me like it is a ready-made unit that is fitted in the room, looked durable though, the water flow in the shower was strong and really good. There is an ironing room in the forth floor (always good to know). Close to the hotel lots of places to eat, supermarkets, ATM, all what you need. Took a taxi to the airport, asked the reception to book it for me, and price was set £22 (which I thought was reasonable). Recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

Stayed on business one night. Reception was efficient and friendly and the room was spacious for a city hotel of its type, the only drawback being that there was no comfortable chair. The bed, adverised as researched and designed by Ibis, was indeed very comfortable. Evening food was limited but the hotel is surrounded by alternative eating establishments. I did eat in and had the poached salmon on a leaf salad with king prawns, expecting 2-3 prawns but got 12 with a side order of garlic bread-a pleasant meal. The do-it-yourself breakfast was exactly as expected and so not disappointing. The location is excellent and within a short walk of almost anywhere in the city centre. I would happily stay here on future visits to Bristol.

I stayed here for one night as I had a conference the next day in Bristol. The room only cost £40 + breakfast which was great value for a city centre. Parking was extra as it generally is in city centres but it was very easy to get parked as everything in Harbourside is purpose built for ease of use. I arrived late so didn't use any of the restaurants or bars but there was a lot of variety and all looked great. The room itself was clean and provided everything I needed for the stay. I would definetly stay here again if travelling to Bristol.

I was expecting this to be unpleasant, but was pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean and relatively comfortable, I appreciated the new beds and good shower (although the pre-fab, pod bathrooms are interesting to say the least). This is no frills at its best. Bristol is a lovely city, so you'll probably spend very little time in your room--and the hotel's location is perfect, close to the city center, and the newly upgraded waterfront, complete with restaurants and cultural venues. There are no doubt better hotels in Bristol, but this was certainly sufficient in the important areas and did not disappoint.
