I have used this IBIS on about 3 occasions when staying in Bristol on business. I used it when other alternatives were not available. I expect a budget chain hotel to be functional rather than pleasant but the Ibis is at the high end of the "Soulless Box" scale.
The rooms are very basic but clean. The lack of air conditioning makes it stuffy and the window was difficult to open. The TV did not work. The capsule style shower room was also fairly depressing.
On the positive side the staff were reasonably friendly and quick and the breakfast was quite good.
