Recently opened around the same time as the Dub Lounge on Stoke's Croft and is a tiny place sandwiched between shops which I only noticed because of its colourful board on the pavement which invited me in to try their 'tasty tagines'. Turns out it is run by the same guy who had the Moroccan restaurant on the corner of St Marks Road (by the tunnel). Also co-run with a local Asian businessman, hence the Moroccan/Indian fusion of foods. Sit down or takeaway. Meat and vegetarian tagines (I've tried all of them by now) arrive sizzling to your table and come served with rice or cous cous - all for around a fiver - excellent value for money as the portions are very substantial.
Also indian snacks and delicious cakes available - coffee not bad either. Mint tea in a traditional ornate pot also available.
All in all, excellent food in comfortable surroundings, Moroccan décor with comfy sofas to recline or a hidden booth to enjoy food away from the tv (often showing world football if interested). Fast becoming known, so get down there before he puts up his prices!! Highly recommended.
