There weren’t many people in the bar and it was table service, but the waitresses were never on the lookout for people wanting to order. On one occasion a customer even went up to the bar because he got fed up with waiting and still wasn’t noticed. I’d say on average we had to wait 10 minutes between drinks.
Also ordered jalapeno bites which were on the menu as having cheese but did not come with it, because they’d been fried too much and the cheese had leaked out. This meant they were so hot (because they were basically just jalapeño) that they were inedible. Beer selection is good but service and food was shocking.

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.
As the rules are constantly changing in regards to COVID-19, the team are constantly changing the way things are being done, in regards to every aspect of their job, making it somewhat difficult and inconvenient at the best of times.
I am sure if you were waiting up to ten minutes in between drinks, the waitresses in question must of been busy enough until getting round to you. Sometimes, we cant whiz round like we used to be able to due to Covid-19.
I am also sorry you had a few problems with the food. Our poppers are deep fried, then oven cooked. Sometimes, I am afraid they pop in the cooking process and its not as easy for the kitchen team to notice, but easier when being the consumer. Please next time, notify a member of a team, and they will be sure to get the kitchen to re make some for you or to take the item off your bill.
Hopefully this experience you have had with us doesn't put you off coming back again.

Beer always good although selection is often odd
But food wasn’t great
Deep fried chicken with skin on the brioche bun was a bit damp like it had just been defrosted
Must admit I ate it all so couldn’t have been all bad but I did have a taste of fat and skin for rest of night
My wife ate about 5% of the chicken and maybe 1 sweet potato chip which weren’t great
We had griddled chicken here last time which I must admit was a year or so back And was good but now seem to have gone down the deep fried route
Lovely ambience there please fix the food
Difficult to say value as we got 20 off but my wife ate nothing

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.
I can assure you, all meats arrive on a daily basis and cooked from fresh. None of it gets frozen/defrosted. The taste of fat/skin you had would of been the spicy flour coating that the chicken gets tossed in before the process of cooking.
Our Spicy Chicken burger has always been pan fried. Never has it either been gridled nor deep fried.
Please next time, can you notify a member of staff about any issue, and they will be sure to amend any problems right away.
Please consider allowing us to serve you again in the future.

Wonderful evening! Not going to lie, was slightly worried about my first night out since the big issue, but Ellie handled it amazingly. She was very busy but we had no waits, were sat very quickly ( once I remembered my phone number for their guest book) and she checked for second drinks, and was very understanding with my lack of decisiveness! Would happily come again without ant hesitation. Thank you again Ellie!

I've been here on many occassions, and we always visit when in Wycombe. They always have a great selection of beers, all of which can be purchased in a flight. The food here is amazing also, great burgers and pizzas.
Looking forward to returning on my next trip to Wycombe.
