We stayed for 2 nights, Friday to Sunday. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, glasses gleaming. Breakfast and staff first class. We ate in the restaurant on our 2nd night and staff, again, were friendly and efficient and the meal was very good. We worried that as we were next to a very busy road we would be disturbed by the noise but the rooms are fully glazed and there was no noise from outside. The only, very slight criticism, is that the water was only warm when we showered at different times of the day and the water saving toilet flush meant we had to flush several times which really defeated the object. Would we stay at this hotel again? Definitely.

Good location on the M40; easy access to London or M25 and Heathrow. Short walk to nearby restaurants and supermarket. Warm welcome, nice room. Nice breakfast. No free Wifi which I would expect for the price, apparently to become available for regulars as a reward and a Head Office decision. A little bit too corporate for my liking but it does give what it says it will give.

Stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period. The area is far out from Central London so its not a tourist destination at all. About 45mins drive. Really nothing to do in this area however we had to attend a wedding nearby and therefore chose this hotel.

Getting back to the hotel itself. It was very clean, nice entrance. We had 4 rooms on the ground floor. Luckily because the hotel has no lift. Our room was very spacious and neat. Staff were great and very friendly. Parking was abundant and free. Location in terms of the area situated was great as it was just off the roundabout so its easy to find.

If I had to come back to this area in the UK, I would definitely use this hotel but I doubt I will have another reason to be in the countryside.

All in all, good value for money and probably the best hotel in the area. Dont expect a 4 star city hotel, but what I can tell you is that you will have a comfortable night stay.

I like holiday inn for a lot of reasons, however in the UK they are leading the race to the bottom. This hotel is fine, it is well located and generally clean. The rooms however are tiny and the bed incredibly uncomfortable. .

There was tea and coffee but no biscuits which just seem incredibly mean spirited.

Would rush back but so long as rate below £50 it will be fine.

Room Tip: Try not to get ground floor room.

Efficient check-in with friendly staff was welcome after a long day travelling. The rooms are a little dated compared to newer holiday inn properties but the bed was very comfortable.

Thanks to the team for preparing vegetarian breakfast trays at short notice with a great variety of food.
