My partner and I are regular customers of the Mowchak in Stokenchurch and it is one of our favourite places to eat and has been for the two years that we have been together. The restaurant is local to us so is convenient but that is the last reason we visit so regularly! Everytime we go for a meal at the mowchak, we are greeted with friendly and familiar faces of staff who know us so well, they can recite our orders by heart! The service is faultless everytime we go and we have never had any complaints to make about the food. Last night, a table was booked for 13 of us for my partners 21st birthday and we left again with absolutely no complaints. A few members of our table arrived late which was not a problem for the staff who accommodated us in the bar and waited patiently for our late arrivals. The service was as outstanding as always and we weren't left waiting. The food as always was lovely and 13 very happy and full people left last night!

It's undergone a refurbishment but that's not all. The decor is brighter and friendlier, the service has improved massively and the food is great! So pleased that our local Indian restaurant is back on track!

Following a "difficult" time the Mowchak is now again open with most of the original staff. The food is great and the staff friendly and helpful. We went with a party of 7, including a young child. The service was a bit slow as the restaurant filled up but we didn't mind as there was plenty of conversation in our party. Good to see the old staff back and some new items on the menu. I stayed however, with my favourite dish and this was even better than before.

Me my husband and daughter stopped off here on our way back home to Worcestershire after a day out in London. Staff very friendly and attentive and nice good quality food that arrived quite quickly. The only complaint I would have is that for me my Chom Chom Chicken was a bit too salty but I don't add salt to my food so may be ok for other people. Would recommend if you want a good meal at a reasonable price.
