“Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed and cosy getaway”
Reviewed 29 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I travelled with a group of adults. From the moment that we arrived, Andy was extremely helpful. Andy let us know about the local area and told us everything we needed to know about the property. He gave us recommendations on where to eat, and things to do in Cambridge. The area was lovely and tranquil. It was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The house itself is beautifully decked out and very clean. It was exactly as shown in the images and everything was in working order. The kitchen had more than just the basic mod-cons as well as coffee, oil, a coffee maker, and more. It had all of the utensils needed to cook a full meal. The living room was cosy, with a lovely fireplace and television. It also featured Bluetooth speakers. The Wi-Fi was fast throughout the property. The bathroom shower had great water pressure, with towels provided. The bedrooms were extremely cosy. We absolutely loved the nostalgic features.

Throughout the duration of our stay, Andy was readily available to answer questions and was willing to come over to help with anything that we needed.

Thank you for the amazing stay, Andy! We look forward to booking with you again in the future.

“Lovely house, peaceful location”
Reviewed 30 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

I stayed here with my partner and two friends as we were attending a wedding nearby. It is in a lovely, quiet village and you can't hear anything in the house- we had two great nights' worth of sleep.

There are a few things that stop us putting this rental as a 5 rating. Firstly, the fact that we have to sort all of the rubbish out; this wouldn't be so bad if there weren't three separate types of rubbish, also I feel there should be some sort of bags in the boxes in the kitchen as we don't want to keep handling rubbish.

Next, there are a few necessities that we are used to being provided in a rental (as we've stayed in a few), for example teabags. We have never had to buy our own teabags before and when you arrive late at night it would be nice to have some provided. Also, milk. Again this is something we've always been provided with. Other things that would be useful for everyone is oil, salt and pepper.

Other than this, the cottage was very comfortable and serves as a perfect base for accessing Cambridge. There are plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking. We also liked the interesting design features such as the camera collections and mobile phone collections. Thank you for a lovely stay, we didn't have to ask for anything whilst we were there. We would love to stay again soon for visiting Cambridge properly.

Thanks for the in depth review, Kirsty. With regards to condiments provided within the cottage, I am happy to provide a selection of teas in addition to the fresh filter coffee that is already provided. Oil for cooking is a good idea. Salt and pepper is provided, on the big shelf in the kitchen. With regards to the refuse, unfortunately the district council segregates recycling, household waste and food/garden waste into 3 different collections; hence the 3 bins. I will put more bags out. Thanks again for leaving No 11 in such a lovely condition.
