Having eaten here several times this year, I have always found the food to be of high quality – the chocolate brownie is a particular treat – and prepared quickly.
The waiters themselves have also been excellent, yet the experience is severely let down at the payment stage. Instead of paying at the table, patrons are required to pay at the till near the entrance that is usually staffed by the same unwelcoming and discourteous man. On separate occasions, I have been overcharged, felt pressured to pay a tip and felt dismissed and disregarded as soon my payment had gone through. Consequently, this gave me the impression my custom was not appreciated.
It is such a shame that due to this one individual, my whole experience of Don Pasquale has been tarnished. Despite this venue’s convenient location and excellent food, I now go out of my way to somewhere that values my custom.
