Was working in Cambridge and went to the Chop House on a whim.
Parking is a pain in the backside. Though there is parking near by, this is the summer (thus no students) and we still couldnt find a space. We did park directly outside in a loading only zone, which so long as you sit upstairs, you can easily see to move if needed. Luckily, we were able to enjoy our meal unimpeeded.
We had the sharer platter between three of us which was nice, but would be better for two. Id suggest it had too much crackling and i was dissapointed that it didnt come with any of their betroot and whisky mayonaise to go with the haggis fritters (do try them!)... That said everything was pleasant.
For the main, I had a sirloin (£20 inc chips coleslaw and a choise of sauce) which i like rare and came cooked perfectly.
While we didnt have dessert we did enjoy a coffee, a few ales....
The only let down was that the wine list was exclusively french (or 99% there of)...
I will definitely go back next month.
Sharer starter, 3 mains and a few drinks was £100.
