From entering the pub, to ordering drinks and food, to eating and finally leaving this was a very pleasant experience. We initially saw it was a Nicholson pub and although we have not fully enjoyed a previous one in York we gave it a go. We sat at the rear of the pub which was clearly marked for dining, Table 26/27. We consisted of a party of four, father, mother and two daughters.
The food we had was diverse, not one selection the same, but it was served hot and with a smile.
It was followed up with an all ok, during the meal, which gives any disgruntled customer to complain if not ok. This was a day out to Cambridge from our home town of Chesterfield. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food we had chosen and the service given. Thankyou
