The Moller Centre

The staff here are the best!

Don't know how much it costs to stay here as this was a business trip and I did not have to pay but the room I stayed in could be improved - blue carpet, white walls, very bland overall and not very bedroom-like, this could definitely be improved, although I do appreciate this is primarily a conference centre (nb my room was not like the one in the photo). The wooden floors in the corridor are noisy - you can hear people coming and going outside your bedroom.

Thank you for writing a review on TripAdvisor, we appreciate your comments.

The entire Møller Centre has an authentic contemporary Danish design which is continued in the bedrooms. This design is very significant as it is ideal as a study environment, and provides a fresh, clean and light environment that contributes to the learning of the leaders and aspiring leaders that attend the Centre. The Møller Centre is a residential conference centre and not a hotel, so therefore the look and feel within the bedrooms has been customised accordingly.

We read with interest your comment regarding the noise from wooden floors outside the bedrooms and we will be implementing door closers for the internal doors within the bedrooms to minimise any noise guests may hear outside of their bedrooms. We are also currently investing in new carpets to go into our bedrooms which are being introduced gradually, this will provide a more luxurious feel to the carpets.

I'm from London. Have been to Moller Center for 3 days 2 nights for the seminar and I had a very good time that I want to stay there for a week more. It was quiet and have many outdoor space for you to relax. The reception was very helpful and kind. We are around 25 persons in our group.

Room: The room was spacious and fully equipped with bathroom, toilet, towels, hair dryer, TV, mini bar, air conditioned. The room and building is secure with the scanning fob.

Breakfast: It was a buffet with various kind of food such as american breakfast, rice, ice-cream, yoghurt, cereal, smoked salmon... Nice!

Price: Not sure about it as we come as a group.

Transportation: It was quite hard for me as I'm from London but I discover that to get in to the city centre where you can find a Punting trip, it was just 30 minutes walk to get in to the city. Bring the umbrella with!!

City: Not much thing to do...just go punting, have dinner and drinking. The city is safe compared to london (for sure)
Love to stay

I attended a two and a half day work shop here and was very happy with my stay. The rooms were well kitted out, clean and pretty spacious. The centre is also in reasonably close walking distance to town. The breakfast has a big selection to cater for all tastes, and the other meals were had were really good. Friendly staff as well. I would definitely look forward to another opportunity to stay here.

I stayed here for a conference and it was perfectly adequate but the rooms and venue are unexciting and expensive compared to a lot of nearby other options that are much more comfortable and full of character.

This was my 3rd stay at the Moller centre and I will book here again. The staff are very freindly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable with nice fluffy dressing gowns. The food here is a buffet style and always plenty of choice and nice enough although a tad bland. Check in and out very efficient and plenty of free parking onsite. About a 15 minute into town.

Room Tip: All rooms are facing the same way and are sunny and look out onto sports field

This is the second time that I have visited and this is one of the best, if not be best conference centre that I have taught at. The lecture facilities and support are excellent. The accommodation, which is part of the complex, is of a very high standard with extensive facilities, having a great restaurant with a buffet menu that is well cooked. Also attentive staff, a well-located, friendly bar, access to the gym and free wifi!
Very pleasant rooms, in a modern style and very airy with lovely views across the playing fields to Churchill College.
In summary - excellent from every viewpoint

What a great building. On arrival looks a little bland. But once in your room everything is so well thought out. From space to furniture, lighting. Great bathroom, toiletries. Kitchen with fridge sink. I could go one. Very tranquile and outside space green and tidy. Staff are excellent. It was an all round please. Cambridge is about a 15 minute brisk walk away or 3/4 minutes in a cab.
