Stayed for two nights on a quick trip to Cambridge.

It costs £8 - £9 by taxi to travel into town or you can get the bus which is around a five minute walk away.

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. Although it's near a main road we weren't disturbed by traffic noise at all.

A 12:00 noon checkout was also much appreciated and the bed very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Stayed overnight & found the hotel & room to be clean, modern & comfortable. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced & we got a pleasant welcome at reception. The room was a pleasure to sleep in; the air con & a comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. Couldn't hear a peep from the rest of the hotel either. I will say that my friends were disturbed by building works outside & cigarette smells in the room, but as far as mine & my girlfriend's stay, it was a great stay.

I have never stayed in a premier inn but would never do so again, i waited in line for check in and blatantly people were pushing in.When it came to my turn the receptionist was blunt.
The hotel is not in a bad state but if you can handle the rowdy and rude hen parties be my guest!
The Food was particularly bland and tasteless.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4. Great price for Cambridge. Room clean, comfortable modern. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be looking at Premier Inn in the future, possibly won't do breakfast again, could do better elsewhere for the price, but apart from that couldn't fault it.

Easy to find (but new build, so not on older satnavs - the website directions work a treat). Short walk to bus to central Cambridge - a much better bet than driving.
Reception welcoming and competent. Room very much standard issue; north-facing ones overlook the A14 but no significant traffic noise. Set amidst new-build and being-built housing.
I didn't use the restaurant except for standard-issue breakfast, which was fine.
Parking is reasonably secure; need a room key to access lifts and then to access corridors to the rooms, so if security worries you, I'd say it wouldn't here.

Whilst the Premier Inn hotels/motels certainly cater for the budget traveller there are two observations which deter my wife and I from booking with this chain in the future, Premier Inns tend to be in out of the way places, mainly on industrial sites which could mean a long walk into the nearby town. In some cases this may mean taking a bus. Cambridge and Chichester come to mind. These out of the way locations mean that if you wish to have an alternative venue for eating, a long walk or transportation is necessary.

However, our main criticism is for the restaurant which offers a very limited menu. Furthermore, we suspect that most of the items on offer are mass produced away from the location being reheated on ordering. Breakfast is usually fatty bacon with sausage and eggs dripping in fat.
Marking the food on the menu's we have experienced would be 2 out of 10. On the positive side we found the young staff to be helpful and diligent.

In conclusion we feel that it is preferable to pay a little more to enjoy the benefits of a 4 or 5 star
hotel.

This was for us the perfect place to stay for a short break in Cambridge. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and new. Only a few minutes by bus or car from central Cambridge. Scrumptious breakfast!
