“Go to Chapel”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

We attended a service one evening at King's College Chapel when we were in Cambridge (May 2014), and it was both beautiful and interesting. People attending the service were appropriately respectful and quiet, and most of us attending were tourists. Highly recommended if you are interested in seeing high church ceremony in action, the chapel's interior architecture, and especially to listen to the beautiful singing from the choir. The price is right, too (free); just be sure to get in line a good half-hour plus before the service if you want to get in.
Also note: photos are not allowed.

“Worth a visit -”

Wear flat shoes, streets are not cobbled and uneven, central location and it's in the heart of the city, magical place to visit.

“Lovely but quite expensive”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

This is a very beautiful building with a small and interesting exhibition attached. It is about worth the entrance fee (£7.50 for adults), but be aware that in June it is literally only the chapel and a brief view of the outside of the college you will get - no access to the backs or anywhere else. Having said this - you can't visit Cambridge for the first time without at least looking at it from the outside. The best photo ops are from the road at the back where you can take the iconic shots with the cows in the foreground, over the river to the college in the middle distance.

I was given a wonderful tour of the cathedral which was endless fascinating. Perhaps a tad overpriced though.
