“Boy's Choir”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

The Evensong service in King's College Chapel was sublime. the boy's choir sounded magnificent, in a space that makes the sound seem as if it came from the heavens.

“A mixed review”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

I agree with the lows and highs mentioned in these reviews. It is a truly stunning building, better inside than out. BUT you do get the impression that more could be done to connect the visitor with the history, and the entrance price is eye-watering.
Given that the main exhibit was to a famous China old boy, it perhaps tells you where they see there're piorities.

“Go for the choral service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

There is really nothing quite like sitting for the sung service at King's College Chapel. The acoustics being what they are in the chapel, it is difficult to hear the spoken word. But hearing the choir brought me nearly to tears!

“truly delightful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

this is everything it is built up to be, finally got to the Kings after many years promising myself, and the building and gardens are just lovely, there are 3 distinct sections Henry 8th being the biggest and best of course
we went back for the choir evensong, and quite simply I fell in love...with everything, the singing in the Chapel for me was the tops...perhaps not for everyone...
for disabled there are ramps and whilst the guides are quite strict about opening the gates, and there are 3 places to ''wait'' they will let you in early to sit if you have too...which I found helpful

“Amazing architecture!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

One cannot help being amazed by this beautiful church and grounds. It was very busy with lots of tourists ignoring the signs and taking flash photo's.
