“Beautiful and unique”

This chapel is stunning. The perpendicular vaulting and the fan ceiling are truly spectacular. The history is interesting and worth looking up.

“Truly must not be missed!”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

This chapel (more like a cathedral) is so beautiful. It has the highest fan-vaulted roof in Europe and it's exquisite. The displays in the rooms off to the side are also great as they explain a lot of the history of the chapel as well as the construction techniques. The 'miracle' of this construction should not be discounted...it's truly wonderful.

“Boy's Choir”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

The Evensong service in King's College Chapel was sublime. the boy's choir sounded magnificent, in a space that makes the sound seem as if it came from the heavens.

“A mixed review”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

I agree with the lows and highs mentioned in these reviews. It is a truly stunning building, better inside than out. BUT you do get the impression that more could be done to connect the visitor with the history, and the entrance price is eye-watering.
Given that the main exhibit was to a famous China old boy, it perhaps tells you where they see there're piorities.

“Go for the choral service”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

There is really nothing quite like sitting for the sung service at King's College Chapel. The acoustics being what they are in the chapel, it is difficult to hear the spoken word. But hearing the choir brought me nearly to tears!
