This is a beautiful building from both outside and within. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre and is just across the road from Fitzbillies Cake Shop.
Inside there are some interesting exhibits which are clearly labelled and moderately (not annoyingly) child friendly. The collection is quite eclectic and somewhat reminiscent of the Burrell collection in Glasgow.
It is also free - so very good value for money - especially in Cambridge where just about everything else charges for entry.
