“Friendly, comfortable B&B”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

I really enjoyed my one night stay here. It is a little bit farther out than I expected but there were 2 different buses available to get into the city centre. Rosa is very friendly and easy to talk to. If there is anything you need, she will always help out. The breakfast was wonderful - huge and delicious with an excellent warm fruit mix to start. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Stayed for a night in February. The room and the bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. A little out of the way, as I did not bring a car and was relying on public transportation (it took around 15 minutes by bus from the city center). Despite that, I would highly recommend the B&B.

I thoroughly recommend Rosa's for an overnight stay in Cambridge. The accommodation is comfortable and spotlessly clean, the breakfast superb (including a delicious fruit medley as a starter) and Rosa herself could not be more helpful and friendly. In a city renowned for tourism but not for good tourist accommodation, you will have no regrets about staying here!

Stayed at Rosa's for a night and it was really great. Rosa was really friendly, kindly waited for me to check in late, cooked the best breakfast (with lots of food), enjoying the view over her very large garden and kindly volunteered to iron my shirt. She makes people feel very comfortable and has a lovely B&B, nicely decorated, homey, with a really comfortable bed and bedsheets, great night sleep. There is a cleverly placed curtain at the front of the corridor of the B&B rooms and showers to keep some privacy for her and guests as well.
The room was not huge but attention to detail made up for it. For example, there was a kitkat by the desk.
The B&B itself is located in a quiet residential street in the North of Cambridge.

The cosy spotlessly clean room had everything I needed for a two night stopover, together with a private bathroom and a private entrance door to the house. The breakfasts were the best I have ever had and nothing was too much trouble for Rosa. I will definitely hope to be able to book in at Rosa's on any future visits to Cambridge. The off road parking was a bonus. The city centre is within easy reach with shopping cinemas, theatres, restaurants and all the historical college buildings. Leisurely walks by the river and possibly a walk through the meadows to Grantchester for a honey tea in The Orchard, of Rupert Brooke fame.

If you are looking for a
+ quiet, cosy, spotlessly clean place to stay
+ with a breakfast to remember,
+ space for parking,
+ easy access to the city via a regular bus service just minutes from Rosa's
then look no further.
I stayed in the garden room, which is like having your own little house in Rosa's garden with your own entrance. Rosa couldn't be more helpful and her breakfasts -including your 7 a day!- set you up for the day. I felt so much at home there that I stayed an extra night.Thank you Rosa for your warm hospitality!

Stayed in the little house at the back of the main house, it was very cosy and clean. The owner, rosa, was very helpful and friendly, although I was up to early to have breakfast, rosa was very kind in leaving me some breakfast cereal and toast in my room so as that I could help myself. Comfy bed, cosy room nice people what more do you want for a short stay!
