“Very informative, amusing and a nice easy pace”

A really nice morning seeing the sights of Cambridge. Anthony was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our 16 and 13 year old daughters and friend enjoyed it too. A very pleasant Sunday morning, would definitely do it again.

“Good value and interesting bike tour”
Reviewed 24 December 2011

We went on this 2.5 hr City Bike tour of Cambridge with another family and couple. The costs vary but for a family of 5 we paid £60 including basic mountain bikes and helmets.

The tour guide was friendly & knowledgeable and had worked out a good route around Cambridge to maximise being off road (i.e. cycle paths). The route took us past most sites and there was a good mix of historical facts and stores.

I think there were a few sites such as the mathematical bridge, a couple of collages (including an opportunity to peek into their squares) which could have been included and I would have like a little overview history at the start - however I liked the good collection of prank stories that the guide, Antony, told.

Overall a recommend and a sociable experience.

“Fantastic tour around an interesting town”
Reviewed 2 December 2011

Highly recommend this tour, which we did in August '11. Anthony's easy to get along with, very knowledgeable about his hometown, and accommodating.

Bikes were fine so obviously well-maintained.

At the end of the tour we stopped in at a ye olde local pub, had a pint with a Nobel Laureate (instead of the garden tea) and pretty much rolled downhill back to Anthony's.

Definitely the best way to see Cambridge in a day (do the whole day; there's not enough time in the half day to see everything in our opinion).

“This must be one of the best ways to experience Cambridge. The tour guide was friendly enthusiastic and informative.”
Reviewed 5 November 2011

We met the tour guide Anthony who was very amenable and helped us choose the correct size bike. The tour seemed very personal and Anthony engaged well with everyone in the group that included couples and families from Holland and Spain.
The tour included information about the history of Cambridge and the university together with humorous anecdotes. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to understand more about the history of Cambridge at the places where it was made.
