“A lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

Instead of staying in a conventional hotel, the next time you are in Cambridge, try this undergraduate accommodation.
Christ's College is in the centre of Cambridge, and the accommodation is inside the college campus. The room was basic, but spacious, and very comfortable.
It reminded me of my undergraduate days. Breakfast in the morning was in the college canteen. Again reminded me of my undergraduate days in my college canteen.
Would recommend this to all travellers. Of course, this is not available during term times, as the rooms are used by undergraduates.

“Great place to stay, perfect location.”
Reviewed 15 December 2013 via mobile

Stayed 1 night here this week. Great location in the centre of Cambridge.
The rooms in building 1 are basic but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Room 18 is at the far end of the corridor so very quiet. There's a small kitchen opposite with a microwave and fridge so you can prepare food if you want to eat in your room.
Staying in the college is very interesting and an experience worth trying. Cooked breakfast, buffet style, is good and there's plenty of it available.
The Porter team are very helpful and you can leave bags with them both on arrival and departure.
Certainly better option than a Travelodge or small B&B.

“Lovely college, just want to go back to my 20s”
Reviewed 11 December 2013 via mobile

I absolutely love Cambridge. Every inch of it. I just can't help thinking that i should have seen this city before i studied uni. This would have been my first and only choice of place to live and study. For Christ's in particular, it's great that it's free to see. Lovely gardens and as you walk thru you just can't believe that you were on the high street a minute ago. Must pay a visit if you are in Cambridge. It's just next to the shopping area.

“Under-rated college”
Reviewed 8 September 2013

Not on the Backs, but in grounds between the main shopping centre and King St/Hobson St. Very good gardens, mellow buildings. And as yet not despoiled by the completely ill-conceived new library they are planning.
Admission free; long may it continue.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 via mobile

Spent the night here on a Saturday. Loved it. Hard to believe that you are in the middle of the City when stood in the courtyard.

Accommodation is spacious and clean with bright & airy rooms. The porters were so helpful and jolly!

It's a great place to stay in order to experience the culture that the college's have to offer - and compared to the hotel prices in Cambridge, it is extremely reasonable too.

The cooked breakfast was very pleasant too!

Highly recommended, will definitely be going back again!
