They now charge £3 to get in but it's worth it to help the college keep up the historic and fascinating courts and buildings. History for real! We had our wedding there so may be biased but the porter who we met 34 years on was just as welcoming to us as those who witnessed our Big Day and the Old Hall set for someone else's wedding never fails to amaze with its extravagant painted walls and the smell of the ancient. It is all so pretty, by the river and tucked away in secret corners. An absolute must for visitors every time they are fortunate enough to be near!
