“An easy walk from Botannical Gardens or Rail Station to Beer Garden”
Reviewed 26 July 2013

A group of 12 of us wandered into the Flying Pig late evening after a great musical evening in the Botannical Gardens next door. We enjoyed the outdoor beer garden. Flying Pig has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Clean and tidy outside with plants and late sunshine rays. Inside funky live music played in darkened interior which is quite ancient and a bit rough, but clearly popular.

“fabulous quirky relaxed pub”
Reviewed 28 May 2013

This is a fabulously quirky pub decorated with bottles and of course flying pigs I venture here often and love nothing better than a lunchtime bacon and mushroom gap. The atmosphere is great both at lunchtime with the office workers and locals in the evening following the after work rush. There is quite a lot of outdoor seating which is prime for the sun in the afternoons- one of my favourite pubs in Cambridge only 15 minutes walk from the centre and less than 5 minutes from the station and the FitzWilliam museum.

“Proper. Pub.”
Reviewed 19 April 2013

One of the best pubs in Cambridge - nice staff, nice beers, nice clientele: everything you'd want from a proper pub. It's just won another award, I understand, and it's not hard to see why.
