Description: The Six Bells is a traditional local pub off Mill Road which has been here for over a century. The pub is deceptively large with the two wood panelled front bars leading onto a conservatory with comfy sofas, and a pool room. At the rear there is a patio garden. We have a pool table, dartboard and a great jukebox. Free wireless broadband access. We serve five real ales, a choice of lagers, Guinness and cider as well as wines, spirits and soft drinks.Home cooked food is served every day from 12pm to 9pm, except on Sundays when our Roast Lunch is served from 12pm to 5pm. Sandwiches available until 11pm. Please be aware we do not accept credit/debit cards.

we showed up late on a Sunday afternoon. We were told that they had a limited menu, which I liked because it meant they used fresh ingredients. We all ordered roasted beef, which was very good, and the side dishes were amazingly fresh and of top quality. Personnel was very kind but let us be, which is great if you are with noisy kids. And I did not get the heavy feeling I sometimes get when food quality is poor. Great place to be. Thank you guys. You have figured out it is all about the food and not being pompous or pretentious. And, best value for money.

Myself and best friend visit the pub once a week or so at different times of the day.

The land lord is always happy and when ordering food is more than happy to cater all as we are both fussy eaters. Nothing every seems to much for him.

The staff are excellent. We went in on st Patricks day and had an amazing night. Still smiles from the staff even though the bar was always 2 deep and the atmosphere was amazing.

Steak night are amazing value for money and they are always cooked to perfection.

Monday nights are also good as there is a quiz night which is only a £1 to enter and you get free chips at half time! What more could you ask for?!?!

We WILL be visiting soon.

Thank you for making it such joyous experience.

Found this pub by accident and what a find. A light bright pub decked out in wood.... It was clean light and a fantastic atmosphere. The service was good, toilets very clean and all reasonably priced. BEst find of the year.

Fantastic beef Sunday lunch with lots of veg. All served hot with our own gravy boat for two! Excellent range of meats offered; pork, beef or chicken or frittata for vegetarians. I would definitely recommend a meal at The Six Bells, Cambridge.

They have great food in general - tasty home cooked meals, but the steaks are really memorable. Their chef Tony prepares them just as you like.

We go there each time we visit Cambridge and we always enjoy it. This pub has a friendly atmosphere, where everyone is welcome. I would recommend this pub to all visitors who want to avoid all those usual eating places for tourists. Just off Mill Road, ask for directions – everyone knows it.
