We arrived late to our guest house and were hungry after a long travel day. The owner of the guest house recommended we give Dawatt a try and we are glad we took him up on his recommendation. It was a scant 200 meters from where we were staying so we arrived quickly. Decor was pleasant...linen tablecloths and napkins with nice silverware. Besides all the regular dishes on many of the Indian restaurants in England, they also had their specialties including some Bengali dishes...we ordered two of those and they were both excellent. One a creamier dish and the other a spicier one...both chicken. We also ordered the coconut rice and pilau rice and some garlic naan...once again excellent. The owner explained to meet that Dawatt means to "invite to a meal" and that is just what it says on their sign...invite-eat-dine....we are glad we were invited to dine there!
