We had a really enjoyable experience at the Cambridge wine school. The experience is easy to book online, Mark is very organised and there are lots of information in how to find the venues. Our wine experience was in the Gonville and Caius college founded in 1348, the surroundings make the day extra special, the room was set out on arrival and Mark was very warm and welcoming. Marks presentation is very interesting, informative and the day and the wine flows lovely. The 2 course lunch provided by the college was delicious. The short tour of the college and the sabrage demonstration after lunch is very interesting. It is great to meet other people on the course and share your love of wine. A really lovely day for yourselves or gift for someone special I would certainly recommend it.

What a marvellous afternoon in Gonville & Cauis College learning about 'New World vs Old World'.
Mark has an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine and an exceptional gift of being able to communicate the knowledge to the room. His ability to adapt to the varying levels of experience in the room was also a great advantage- no question goes unanswered.
Additionally, the beautiful setting, a room full of like-minded people and a rather delicious lunch to boot made for an all-round memorable experience.
I would recommend it without hesitation, and I'm already planning my next course.

I expected wine tasting with the option to buy wine, but this was different! It was a really interesting few hours learning in a fun memorable way about different wines and effects of the wines on the tastes of food (here cheese in particular) and vice versa - without having a hangover later on, but 6 nice wines to taste. Go with a friend and maybe don't expect the too much of 'Royal' Cambridge Hotel, although it is perfectly fine. Definitely worth the money!
