I took my mother in-law to visit my son who was living in Cambridge at the time. We were there in September, beautiful blue skies with comfortably warm weather. We went down to the punting docks by taxi and bought our tickets. She has difficulty walking, as she is 87 years old but she really wanted to do this. The staff was wonderful in helping her get into a boat. The tour was entertaining and informational. We went along the River Cam behind the various colleges, called "the Backs". Took some beautiful pictures. When we returned at the dock there was extra staff waiting at the dock to help her out of the boat. Everyone was so kind to her, I am so glad we did this. It is well worth your time.
