“Fantastic - Cannot Fault It”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

We have eaten here a few times, the service is excellent and the burgers are the best I have had. Cambridge is very slow for service but could not fault the service or the food each time we have visited.

Please note: This is Cambridge so it will be expensive and does not come with extra's, these have to be ordered separately and the clue is in the title - Proper Hamburgers so don't expect much else...!

Also have their Milkshake with Malt at the end..the Best.

“Nice burger, good service, expensive and not much selection.”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Had a lunch here with a couple of mates. Had read good things about byron burgers so was looking forward to it. On the menu there is a limited choice of what you can choose from, it`s a burger place, so its mainly a hand full of burgers with various sides you can add to them. I had a byron burger. The burger itself was nice, big and juicy. Dont get me wrong it was a really nice burger, but it didnt jump out at me, it seemed fairly much like id get from Jamies or anywhere else.

I opted for the courgette fries as ive never had them before and they were so greasy it was unreal, dripping. They had a good choice of drinks, bottle of cider came in at £4.95. Burger was £9.95. Between 3 of us it came to £55 which we felt was a bit expensive.

Id like to try their other choices of burgers but I probably wouldnt rush back at that price. Its worth noting that they also do the same menu, for the same price, as takeaway if you dont fancy sitting in. The restaurant was pretty big though, lots of space, but they did also have a lot of waiters/staff which was good as they kept an eye on you and gave good service.

“Yummers.”

Delicious food, perfect drinks (wine pricey!), fast and attentive service from friendly, on the ball waitresses. The place is noisy but that seems to be a feature of the chain. Couldn't fault it.

“Good burgers for a good price”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Popped in for a burger while spending an afternoon in Cambridge. The restaurant reminded me of an american diner in terms of decor, the staff were great and even though immensely crowded we were seated and served quickly. I had the "smokey" burger, a beef and bacon burger with cheese and all the trimmings. Have to say I was not disappointed, great flavour and good portion size. The menu was large and had plenty of food and drink on offer including some American rarities. Definitely worth a visit for a quick bite for a good price.

“Ok food good drink”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

I recently ate at byron. The service was nice but I did not really like the burgers. The burger was normal and there was nothing special about it. You are better of buying a burger from McDonald's. Although the burgers were not good the milkshakes were very good. It was very creamy and delicious. I recommend going to Byron just for a drink.
