We predominantly visit here so that our boys can play pool. The food is average - we've had better meals here in the past. I had fish & chip at the weekend, and it was definitely frozen. Staff are good - attentive. We were the only people eating.

Very unperfessional staff, we had to return some food that didn't taste as it should but the lady behind the bar was very unhelpful. Even though our group had spent a good amount of money on drinks. Not even an apology? Not the way to keep customers happy especially when an apology would have sufficed.

This is our second visit to this pub, we went for my partners birthday, the food is excellent, very good value, very clean and tidy, it also has a garden at the rear, it is dog friendly too.

Stayed two doors up after visiting duxfords VE airshow. Came to the pub looking forward to a good English pub meal. Was advised (almost triumphantly) that there was no food on Sunday's and we would struggle to get any. It became clearer when we were also advised to sit in a pool room as there was a quiz later and the locals obviously would need the space. My wife was looked up and down when she came back with a sandwich from the local shop to take back to our room and we were generally given scowls when folk were looking for our seats. Do not use this place if you are visiting (try the exchange on Kings street) or better still don't stay in Over and leave the clique to it.
