“Perfect apartment in a good Cambridge location”
Reviewed 26 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Auckland Court is exactly as pictured and described. Everything in the apartment worked and the bed was firm, providing us with good rest. We had a lovely view of Midsummer Common and easy access to all transportation options via the Citi 3 bus. Heather was easy to work with and our security deposit was returned the day we left.

“Comfortable and convenient”

A comfortable flat with views over Midsummer Common and the River Cam. Very close to city centre but in a quiet location. Supermarket and eateries also nearby. A good spot for exploring Cambridge from.

“Ideal!!”
Reviewed 6 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

The flat is extremely confortable ( with modern kitchen appliances) and calm, and perfectly clean! Heather is very easy going and, though we arrived about one hour early, she arranged to meet us for an early check-in and we could get settled very quickly. The damage deposit was very quickly refunded as well.
The flat is ideally located, within walking distance to the centre of the city and college area. The commons and the river Cam are a very pleasant view at breakfast!!
I have already recommended the flat to friends and I would gladly stay there again on my next trip to Cambridge.

“Excellent Value for Money & Very Comfortable”
Reviewed 30 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

We have stayed at various hotels and apartments in Cambridge over the years which have been good but not always been good value for money, and often very expensive for what you get. This flat is fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, cosy and well equipped. The river view from the living room is brilliant.
The City is about ten minutes walk away with a choice of routes; over the common, along the river or follow the road. Whichever way you go there will be a few pubs on the way:-).
There is a small supermarket on Chesterton Road along with a number of takeaways including a really good Indian takeaway (Royal Spice - on the little bridge) and Chinese (Hing Hung). This is great if you have had a nice day out and boozy lunch in the City and have just about conked out!!!
We loved it so much that we have already booked again. Heather is lovely and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend for a really good value but enjoyable break.

“Comfortable, central apartment well equipped with lovely view”
Reviewed 4 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Really good communication with the owners, so easy to book and to access on arrival.
The flat is clean and quiet, the kitchen is well equipped and the view of the river is lovely!
Parking was easy and the walk to town enjoyable.

Ideal base in Cambridge.

“Another great stay at a superb apartment”
Reviewed 31 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Second stay at Auckland Court for my annual Cambrige visit and loved it again this is definitely my go to place for Cambrdige visits!

The location is perfect for a visit, turn left and you are close to the city centre literally less than five minutes to the Grafton and 10 minutes to the other side of the town, turn right and straight onto a walk by the river which is a great way to get to the city centre the scenic way.

The apartment is well fitted out, clean and very spacious by Cambridge standards, the only thing that would make it better is more storage in the bedroom perhaps a chest of drawers next to the wardrobe. The bed is probably the most comfortable I've slept in when staying away!
Parking is easy and on the odd occasion I couldn't park onsite there was a permit for on street parking where there is plenty of room.

For travelling around Cambridgeshire the A14 is close and leads onto the whole road network so getting around is very easy.

Heather the owner is very friendly and helpful and the key handover was quick and easy and at the end of the week my security deposit was returned quickly.

I've stayed in a few apartments in the town and this is by far the best and the only one I keep coming back to wish I'd found it yearts ago!

“The Perfect Setting”
Reviewed 21 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This is an immaculate apartment with a lovely view over Midsummer Commons. From the window in the lounge, I could watch the rowers on the Cam, dog walkers, bicycle riders and even cows in the field. The kitchen is huge, with everything one could want to prepare a lovely meal. The apartment was quiet, and I never heard any noise from any of the other residents. There is ample parking in the residents' lot, and the owner/manager was thoughtful enough to provide a parking permit in the event that no on-site parking was available. This is important because the street parking is limited to those with permits.
The Grafton Center is a quick two block walk away. Once through it there are shops and restaurants including a Waitrose and a Patisserie Valerie. Beyond the shops is a park that once navigated leads right to the historic center of Cambridge. The walk along the Cam, although a bit longer, is lovely. I always felt safe in the apartment, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Will definitely return in the future.
