“Excellent apartments...I almost don't want to share!”
Reviewed 19 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This is our third stay in 1 year in Casey's Yard apartments and love the clean, stylish/arty/retro feel to them all.
A 10-15 minute walk to Cambridge shopping centre and 3 minutes from the River Cam for runs/walks

“A Gem of A Place and So Close To The City Centre”
Reviewed 16 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Myself and my wife had never ever been to Cambridge before. When going away we always look for alternatives to hotels as we work in hotels ourselves. Somewhere within walking distance of the city and tourist sites and with parking was just the job.

What we got was so much better than that. Greeted by Jayne on arrival the welcome was warm and friendly and though we didn't need any assistance we knew it would be there if required. Apartment 2 was a joy and we felt immediately at home. In fact I didn't really want to leave and could have happily stayed for a week. There is more than enough space for two ( there was a highchair / cot / baby bath if you had a very young child) and it feels really cosy. Although on a main road into the city it didn't feel noisy at all.

The apartment is furnished beautifully with some quirky artwork and niknaks. All the things you may need are available including freeview tv, quality wifi, iron and board, thermostatic heating controls and a great galley kitchen with generous fridge freezer. The bathroom is also great with a very powerful shower.

The main sites of Cambridge are about a 10-15 minute walk away and the river about 2 minutes. You will need to organise parking in advance but the 'yard' at the back of the house feels completely safe for your car.

A great stay. We very much hope to return. Thank you very much

“Comfortable flat close to river”
Reviewed 25 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Well appointed flat about 15 minutes walk from the centre. Comfortably furnished, with everything we could possibly think of (except a bread knife).

“A perfect place”
Reviewed 19 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed at Casey's Yard for two and a half weeks for a course and a holiday. Jane is a wonderful and attentive hostess, who made our stay extremely comfortable, and William made the booking fast and easy. The flat is just as you see in the photos and YouTube video: light, spacious, comfortable. It is also very quiet for its location on a busyish road. Two fantastic restaurants within a 4-minute walk, a gigantic Tesco that stays open until 10 pm ten minutes away by foot, and a 20-minute walk to the centre (a bit longer if you go along the Cam, only three blocks away). Stephen keeps the place spick and span. Do not hesitate about renting this flat: we certainly will whenever we come back!

“Perfect!”
Reviewed 29 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed for ten days at Casey's Yard, apartment 2, and were very happy with the comfort and the location. The apartment is cosy and tasetfully furnished, the kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and newly restored. Very good internet access. Although this part of New Market Street has quite busy traffic, the traffic noise didn't disturb us and the location was very convinient, 5 min walk to the Grafton shopping centre and several restaurants and 15-20 min walk to the City Centre. Bus stop is just outside. Also, the riverside park is only couple of blocks away. The proprietors were very helpful and nice. We had a wonderful stay!

“Wonderful stay”
Reviewed 1 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This place is a shining example of how holiday rentals should be done! The apartment is not only beautifully decorated and furnished, it had everything we could possibly need. They really have thought of everything, from providing a travel cot, changing mat and baby bath to leaving fresh milk in the fridge. The place is spotlessly clean and comfortable, with lots of spares of anything you might need such as blankets & duvets. The proprietors were on hand day and night to answer any questions and were incredibly kind in allowing us to check out late. The property is well located, with a lovely walk along the river taking you straight to the city centre.
I cannot say enough good things about Casey's Yard. The only down side was that we had to leave!
