We went there for a pub meal on a Sunday in October (2013). We waited at least 50 minutes for the food, with no apology when it came. We think we saw the chef on his break in the garden, but we weren't told this when we put in our order. There was hardly any cheese on the baguette I had and the home-made coleslaw was made not with mayonnaise or salad cream but apparently with cream.
It is now a pub for drinking the huge selection of beer, not food.
