Description: An eclectic Cambridge restaurant situated on the famous King Street in the heart of Cambridge. Modern British cuisine, utilising the freshest local ingredients by a team of talented chefs in the kitchen. We have recently undergone a massive redevelopment with a brand new restaurant. Come on an adventure with us and discover your palette. We also have our private dining room "The wineshop", which is available for your function. We have built a bar above the restaurant with a roof top terrace. Called the Liquor Loft! We have an extensive cocktail list with a focus on barrel aged cocktails, home-made liquors and cordials, paired with craft spirits and beers.

We were lured in to the restaurant by a man offering chocolate brownie tasters, always a good start. Only one of us was hungry & it was quite late in the afternoon by this point, with a meal out planned for later that day, so I ordered a gem Caesar salad. I can honestly say, it was THE nicest salad I've ever been served! You don't expect much from a salad, but it was perfectly proportioned, it had lots of Parmesan & anchovies. Disappointingly this meant my other half (not hungry) decided to help himself! This lead to us ordering and sharing the recommended 'egg soldiers', which was chocolate brownie served with homemade white chocolate ice cream & a coconut & mango fried egg (served in a tiny frying pan). There aren't words to describe how nice this was - you'll have to try it for yourself!
If you like wine, the selection was extensive, we opted for 'The Stump Jump' Reisling, which was delicious.
We will return here and have already recommended it to friends who are visiting Cambridge in a few weeks. ENJOY - but don't sit near the front window, looking out as the building over the road isn't pretty, it won't spoil your meal, but given the choice I wouldn't sit looking at it :)

We have visited twice in the past couple months for both lunch and dinner and were glad we returned after two not so good experiences. When D'Arrys first opened the food & service great, so it is good to see a return to those days and Iong may they last. The tapas was very enjoyable and great value and the dinner was very tasty, both with good service. We like the small plate option!

This restaurant has upped its game. Food was elegant, unusual and beautifully conceptualised. Service slightly over-attentive, but better that way than the other. We enjoyed. We recommend particularly the specials as they seemed more imaginative than the staple menu.

Chose this restaurant speculatively and had the set lunch with some wine. Attentive but not overbearing service and all three of us enjoyed our different choices. Wine was reasonably priced and excellent value. Would go there again

This restaurant only receives 71% on Tripadvisor which is not good but from my experience last Saturday lunch time no more than 50% would be a true reflection of everything. The food and cleanliness were poor. The service was adequate.
Why is it when people open restaurants in the UK they do not get proper training in how to run a proper restaurant? Why do the chefs or in this case cooks not get proper catering training? Go to France for a year and learn how it is done!
