“Quaint comfort at The Coach House”

We booked direct with the owners, a simple process which worked smoothly and we stayed with friends for a two night break.

The Coach House is perfect for a short break. It has three ensuite bedrooms, living area and farmhouse kitchen. All are well equipped especially with books and the owners have a large collection coaching and farm memorabilia.

There is parking for two cars off the road at the front of the main building and a small garden adjacent to the kitchen. The space is very quiet and private and very close to the cathedral and the town centre.

One quirk was that in two of the ensuite bathrooms, the showers did not have an overhead attachment to hold the shower head, so showers taken while holding the attachment. They also have half sized baths.

In terms of quality, the bed linen and towels were of high quality.

We spent £300 for two nights for four people, which we felt was good value.

The owners were welcoming and are close by if you need assistance.
