Visited for a pre-booked afternoon tea with gin or mocktail. Cafe very quiet with three staff in evidence. Two gins provided without any choice being offered. Not huge issue but then no cutlery or napkins on table, salt cruet was empty and then on asking for extra plates for scones/cakes after using initial ones for croque monsieur they pointed to where they were on counter. Shame as food was ok.
Could have been a much better experience if staff had been a little more involved with customers. The priority appeared to be preparations for evening service as they tidied away chairs from external seating area and dealt with paperwork at counter.
Does not encourage me to visit this chain again I'm afraid
