Description: Pacino's was established in 1986 and has built up a reputation with the local people and visitors alike for the finest cuisine and affordable wine list that can be found anywhere in the city of Chester. Since its launch the restaurant has tippled in size, now with over 80 covers. Pacino's has however maintained its high levels of quality and service. Pacino's offers an intimate atmosphere and a friendly personal service that can only be found in a family run business. Perhaps that's why we are often referred to as "Chester's Hidden Gem". Gluten free available on request.

“Pacinos Just the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

Pacinos is a hidden gem tucked away in Newtown just a short walk from the city centre.
Don`t let the outside view kid you, once inside you`ll discover that hidden gem.
Greg behind the bar will give you a very warm welcome, you can mull over the delightful menu whilst having a drink by the bar.
Choice is always going to be difficult and the specials board will make you choice even harder but whatever you choose you won`t be disappointed, our favourite is Pidgeon Breast starter with Steak Gorgonzola as a main.
The wine selection is excellent as is the service.

I have been to Pacinos a few times over the years and always had a fantastic night. The goats cheese canneloni is my favourite food in the entire world! its absolutely gorgeous! The chef is spot on his food is lovely and the host and waitresses are so polite friendly and helpful! Coming here in a few weeks for a night out with the girls we can't wait! Keep up the good work guys and girls!

“LOVE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

Absolutely love this restaurant. Always take friends and family who come to visit me and have never had any complaints! Brilliant atmosphere and very friendly staff. My favourite dish is a special so it is hit and miss if I time my visits to be able to eat it but the menu is so wide and varied anyway I never have any problems finding something else to enjoy. Highly recommend a visit especially as parking nearby is free after 3!

“Fantastic Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014

First visit to Pacinos. Had to admit looking at the building from the outside made me feel a bit cautious as its not an impressive sight. However once you step through the door its a delight. The décor is really nice. Wonderful staff and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Well worth a visit. I can honestly say it was the best meal I had eaten for years. The cheese cake was delicious.

“Consistently good family-run restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2014

I have been visiting Pacino's on and off for a few years now, and have never had a bad experience. It isn't the cheapest place in town, but it is perenially popular and on weekends it is invariably heaving with regular clientele.

On my last visit I had pigeon on toast, which I've had several times before and is very good. I generally go for a fish main course from the specials menu, as this is where Pacino's excels. The bass with pesto is excellent, but unfortunately it wasn't on the menu upon my last visit (though reappears as a special with dependable regularity). Side dishes are included in the cost of the main course (which constitute piles of home-made chips and button mushrooms). I don't usually have room for a dessert, but have sampled the sticky toffee pudding which was very good.

The only slightly disappointing thing is that the menu never seems to change, although they generally have numerous specials on to atone for this. The wine list is extensive, well-thought out and reasonably priced. You can pick up an excellent Sancerre for £21. There is always a convivial atmosphere at Pacino's and, coupled with the vouchers they occasionally have on Onionring (for 10-15% off a la carte dining), this ensures that Pacino's is at least a semi-regular haunt of ours.
