We stayed in an Enviable room which, with it's free standing bath and king size bed is ideal for a romantic break. The hotel is spotless and the service brilliant. We tried the tasting menu in the restaurant which was breathtaking. The staff are fantastic and take time to talk and advise where they can. They really are friendly and so helpful. We stayed here because of a recommendation and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
The staff made you feel very welcome. The hotel is beautifull. We stayed here as it was very close to Chester Race course. Views were beautifull. Considering it was race day the service at the bar was excellant.
hotel very good rooms great, very comfortable, good facilities, issue with tv guide but not a major issue, some minor service issues with breakfast staff due to arriving early by a couple if minutes and following instructions, best just to go get a table rather than wait
Great hotel, beautiful rooms and facilities. Breakfast was also great, lots of choice. Very happy. The staff were very helpful and informative. The location is great for the races and the views across the course and beyond fantastic! Very enjoyable stay, a real treat!!
Some hotels just grab me, but this one didn't. Was it the location - no, that was great, overlooking Chester racecourse and close to the city centre. The staff - no, they were fine. The room - spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was fine and it also had a decent gym (not used) What it lacked was "soul". This is a difficult, indefinable thing to inject into a new, large, modern hotel. My overall rating is still "very good", but I would recommend it more for an individual business traveller than for a romantic weekend.
Had a very pleasant and relaxing stay, it was just the tonic we needed after a stressful time for my husband. Also what an unexpected surprise with the upgrade. Made my birthday even better. The service was very good and greatly appreciated.
