When visiting Chester for the weekend we were told by "locals" that the best Indian restaurant in town was the Indian Flava, Brook st, Chester.
Believing our new found friends we decided to give it a try and YES the locals were right.
The starters of chicken tikka and shish kebab were outstanding. But on a Saturday night @ 8pm why was it so quiet ? The main courses of Chicken Tikka Madras and Chicken Korma again were very tasty, cooked to perfection and complimented by a freshly cooked Nan Bread and fried rice were excellent.
The meal was completed by a complimentary "baileys shot" and the usual lemon wipes.
Total bill including drinks £36 ! !
Why was it so quiet ? I can only surmise that the good people of Chester do not know what a wonderful restaurant they have in a side street off the beaten track ! Chester people its time to forget the main stream Indian restaurants and visit the finest and best value Indian Restaurant on your doorstep ! ! I can't wait to go back during my next weekend visit.
