After having our wedding reception in this hotel, my husband and I decided to stay here again for our first anniversary and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Litchfield suite again which was superb and enjoyed a lovely three course meal in the hotel restaurant. The hotel was just as we remembered and the staff are brilliant, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had my daughters wedding at this Hotel and from the day I arrived on the Friday and left on the Monday we had nothing but great service. On the Friday the first tranche of 50 guests arrived for my daughters wedding on Sat, even though there was a wedding on the Fri staff still had time to look after us. We had a meal in the restaurant which was fantastic again high quality service and food. On the Sat (my daughters wedding day) I had a total of 120 guests and again food service and facilities were fantastic. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble, the day was perfect. The rooms are of good quality, service and food were of a high standard. The hotel is located close to Chester town centre ideal base for a wedding or a weekend break. Highly recommended

Room Tip: No lift so use ground floor rooms for people who cannot get upstairs

My Fiance and I wanted a few relaxing days in Chester. Having read other reviews we were not sure what to expect but thats exactly what we got with Rowton Hall.
We arrived to the hotel late on the Monday evening met by pleasent staff that was very helpful and willing to show us around at that time of the evening.
Our room was lovely and comfortable four poster bed. With a lovely ensuite fitted with a televison.
The bar was very relaxing and comfortable with plenty of soft seating and very friendly staff to make you feel like home with a beer in hand.
We spent our next in the pool area and it was top class!! The quality of the finishing in the changing rooms was unreal and then the pool was lovely.
We finsihed our beark with an evening meal in the restaurant and it was 5* food and 3* price. Was very well presented and tasted even better.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wee - break regardless of age.

We had our wedding reception here in January 2012 and we could not have been happier with our choice.
The whole day was perfect from start to finish, attention to detail was second to none and we must say a special thanks to Tony, and of course Keith our amazing toastmaster as well as all the other staff who had a part in our amazing day.
The food was superb, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the bedrooms unique, clean and comfortable.
We could not have wished for a better venue, thank you so much.

Room Tip: We stayed in the bridal suite which was large and luxurious with an amazing bathroom.

I visited this Hotel and Spa today with my wife and some members of our family for lunch. Their special offer is three courses for £26 for two persons and I will regret telling you all about this. Aperitifs in the bar, order taken at your table and called through to the dining room when the food is ready. Spotless white linen tables cloths and knapkins and great service from our waitress Julie. Five choices of starter, main course and sweet and really excellent food. The premises appears to be having a running refurb and the accomodation was excellent when I last stayed for a weekend wedding. I know I will regret this entry but what a lovely place to have a relaxed lunch at an unbeatable price with friendly and courteous service.
