Fabulous!

Booked last minute for just one night and was thrilled to hear I’d been upgraded when I checked in.
I travel extensively for work to some of the best hotels and this place rates right up with them.
What a little gem!!! Clean, stylish, plenty of room, wonderful attention to detail and a super soft bed, plus staff who actually care.
This is my new go to place in Chester, highly recommend.

I love it here, I work locally on a construction site and try stay local to Chester where I can instead of travelling home to north wales and this place is perfect. I don’t get to spend as much time as I’d like here given I don’t arrive until after 6pm and leave at 6am but the main reason I stay here is because they offer some really nice feminine rooms and after being in a male dominated industry all day it really brings out my femininity and allows me to relax. The rooms are perfect, staff are exceptional (I’m sure we’ll be on first name terms in no time!) thank you the hotel Chester, see you next week ☺️

I’d have gone for 4.5 stars but they didn’t have that options. We stayed here on Tuesday in the Safari room and can highly recommend the hotel. The location is right in town but we didn’t get the noise of passing crowds although the weather and time of year would be less people out on the town and as it’s down a side street they aren’t directly passing your windows at going home time. The room had the comfiest bed and the carpets are so soft and fluffy. Would have liked a bit more variety of pillow as well aren’t all the same. There was a stocked mini bar and although we only used the free teas and pint of milk the prices were really reasonable. We loved that all the rooms are unique and will definitely return to try some of the others. For us the selling point of the safari room is the double jacuzzi bath and a rainfall wet room next to it. The room was warm and comfortable but there was a lot of noise through the night. This was probably more down to the weather being bad than the hotel but it did keep wakening us up with things crashing about outside the window. I wasn’t sure if it was the bottle bins for the nearby bar and restaurant or just the wind blowing these into next week or something else. The staff very friendly and the fire in reception was a really warm and welcoming touch in the cold wet weather especially. There was an electric fire but the flame effect didn’t work on it when we used the remote. We also didn’t use it but there was a 2 hob induction stove and some plates etc for anyone wishing to self cater. Will definitely return to this hotel when we come back to Chester and with added pillow option wouldn’t hesitate to give it 5 stars.

Room tip: Uber from the train station is around £4 or you can walk 15/20 mins. Rio almost next door is a must for lunch or dinner

Hello Jade,

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback from your stay in Safari, we deeply appreciate it and I will forward your comments over to management! We have feather and cotton pillows available, by default there are 2 feather and 2 cotton but our reception team is more than happy to replace and adjust where requested. The fire in the Safari apartment is actually a full gas fire also, I'm sorry to hear you had trouble working this. A member of the team would be more than happy to show you how to operate the flame on request. We are available 24/7 either at the desk or by popping us a quick message to our reception phone. Amazing to hear that you loved the jacuzzi tub and the rainfall shower, Safari is definitely a favourite for our guests due to these!

We hope you consider returning to us again soon, perhaps in a different apartment for a new experience next time.

Kind regards,
Rhiannon

It was amazing! Our 1 Year anniversary was great here. The Spa hotel room was gorgeous we went to Tesco and bought Wine and drank it at the table it was bliss. The bed was very comfy and the Shower was delightful. The entrance was funky colours but hard to locate the hotel due to no Clear sign. Reception was a maculate. Overall we both loved it and we will be back might try the Tree house room it looked cool

Room tip: front door is RGB lit up corridor and reception is on the left. Don’t drink or eat any of the mini bar even though it said with compliments

We stayed here one night when we were visiting friends locally.
The location was very central, rooms newly renovated (and had candy!) and the staff friendly and helpful. We had a great stay - thank you for having us!

Room had everything you need with no fuss but lots of style. Staff were very welcoming and great spot in the city. Very clean. If I had 1 complaint , the room was a little too warm but there was a fan and air con unit which we needed.

Hello Sally,
Thank you for a lovely review! I'm glad you loved the décor and standards of our hotel. It was lovely chatting to you during your stay. I apologise for the problem you faced. We are working hard to find the perfect temperate within our rooms as we adapt to the new weather. All our apartments are individually designed so you may be interested in trying another room should you find yourselves back in Chester.
Warm regards,
