Very nice around the cathedral. It was a grand site that was very well presented and my wife and I really enjoyed our tour of the cathedral I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

We went to see the cathedral, lovely and peacefully, suggested donation of £3.00 was reasonable.
Found the refractory and had a really nice sandwich and a drink at very reasonable cost. Nice spacious room with good choices.

Ideal location in the city centre and, unlike Exeter and York, it's free entry! Cooling, green lawns.

We were not in Chester very long but the cathedral is beautiful and well worth a stop and some time. We did not have time for the tower tour and I think that would have been very good to do.

The cathedral and staff are very welcoming for private worship or historical viewing . It had some very moving memorials and their is clear pride in the military personnel who a have sacrificed their lives in service.worth a visit There was also a high top tour we didn't have time to do but it looked brilliant . Lovely cafe and gift shop .
