I've been to the Mercure hotel a few times for our yearly conference, used to be Ramada hotel. The staff are the same, and very helpful, and will take your case to your room if you require help. Also you can book a ground floor room, if you have trouble with stairs. The ground floor rooms are very spacious, with complimentary tea or coffee. Also able to watch tv in your room, if you require other tv stations, from the normal 1-5, it's a small cost, every thing in explained. Also they have Wi fi, or have a snack from room service. Meals are very good, breakfast it's self service and there is a good selection to choose from. Easy to get to, and can also leave your car at the hotel, and not far is the park and ride into Chester, for the shops, only £2 return. You get the return bus, from where you were dropped off. Hotel has a swimming pool, for hotel guests.
