We stayed here between Monday 18th of August and Wednesday 20th of August for a bit of a get away and to celebrate the anniversary of our Engagement 5 years earlier, taking our 22 month old son with us.

My wife saw this place on trip advisor and we booked based on reviews and we were not disappointed.

We set off later than expected so emailed Sue on route to let her know. We received a courteous email back to reassure us this would not be a problem and when we arrived, Sue was on hand to welcome us and to show us to our room even though it was earlier than check in time.

This brings me to our room. Wow. We stayed in the turret family room which was huge and extremely well presented. The room was spotless with a modern en suite shower room complete with powerful shower. We where given a flask of milk daily for making coffee and clean cups and glasses.

Breakfast was lovely and varied with bread, cereal, fruit and fresh juice. The cooked breakfast was all freshly prepared.

The location of the house is excellent, with pubs, restaurants and shops a short 5-10 minute walk away.

We hope to stay here again very soon. Thank you for a lovely mini break.

What a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. The beauty of Chester a stones throw away along with the comfortable friendly surroundings of the Tower House. Sue provided everything we could have wanted with a smile. I hope to stay there again some day and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: I slept in the twin room with one of my friends whilst my other friend stayed in the turret room. Bo...

Just returned from my 4th stay at the Tower house. No it is not a 5 star hotel but the lady of the house Sue does everything possible to ensure your stay is as good. Went with 2 friends as a pre birthday treat and they both loved it.Sitting in the window seat watching the boats go by and the cows charging up and down the field was highly amusing. I had taken a bottle of champagne as a treat and Sue kindly lent me a cooler and glasses to make it special. The house is in a stunning position and you will not be disappointed. If you are, go to an impersonal large hotel. I am delighted to be looked after by Sue and hope that will continue. Keep up the good work.

Room Tip: You must have the Turret room unless of course I want the same dates and then itnis mine

I took my mother to Chester for a weekend away recently. She isn't a fan of big hotels, which she finds impersonal and over formal. So I looked for a classy B&B. Tower House really fits the bill. It is a beautiful town house with very spacious rooms and lovely decor. Sue keeps everything spotlessly clean and the (twin) room was very comfortable. The beds were super comfy and the water pressure in the bathroom was great - we didn't lack hot water at any point. When we checked in, we were welcomed and given an intro to the highlights of Chester using a map in the room. They even gave restaurant recommendations. The breakfasts were great - made to order. Sue even bought in some soya milk especially for me. We had breakfast around a big table with other guests, which was fun and sociable. Tower House is in a beautiful location, a short walk from both the town centre and the station, two minutes from the park. The garden overlooks the river dee and you can sit in the tower folly, watching the boats go by. I would really recommend Tower House to anyone visiting Chester. You won't find anywhere better to stay.

just returned from overnight stay at this b b. a warm welcome from Sue offering us fresh milk instead of the usual small uht capsules. did ask if we would like cooked breakfast but as a couple who have stayed in many b and bs find this is quite a usual practice.and when we came down to breakfast she checked if we still required this and Im sure if we had changed our mind there wouldn't have been an issue. We stayed in the tower room a beautifully decorated light and airy room with a great shower. We enjoyed sitting in the window seat watching the triathlon this morning before we had breakfast.Slept well in a very comfy bed.found Sue helpful and friendly giving us information on where to eat etc would not hesitate to return
