We have just spent another Christmas at the Grovenor Pulford and can't praise it highly enough. We were lucky enough to stay in the newly refurbished rooms which were faultless. The decor was lovely and attention to detail exceptional. The staff were so attentive and nothing ever too much trouble. It is always reassuring to see the same members of staff each stay, there are too many to name individually but together they create a great team.We stayed on a three day Christmas package which included all meals, entertainment and get togethers. All well planned and something for everyone in our party between the ages of 11 and 82. This was our third stay and each time another wow factor appears, this time a beautifully landscaped garden outside the superb leisure facilities. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and every area of the hotel made to look special. There are so many different public areas of the hotel to relax and soak in the atmosphere. I have just finished reading Hotel Heaven by Matthew Brace and I don't think any of those hotels written about could match the Grosvenor for overall hospitality.

Room Tip: Well worth upgrading to newly refurbished rooms. Decor and facilities exceptional. Definate WOW fact...

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at The Grosvenor. The whole experience ran smoothly from beginning to end. The room was spectacular, the staff were friendly and attentive and looked genuinely happy to see us!! The food was divine and special diets (vegetarian, gluten free) were catered for without any fuss whatsoever. The tables were beautifully presented and we were even given gorgeous little plants to take away with us as a souvenir. Nothing was too much trouble. I am already looking forward to next Christmas! I would highly recommend this place. A big, big thank you to all the staff, especially to Gail for her helpful emails and telephone calls.

Where do I begin ... every interaction I and my family have had with the Grosvenor Pulford from the day we booked the venue for our wedding until the special day itself has been faultless. The staff are so friendly and warm and will bend over backwards to help. They really made us all feel like we were incredibly special and our wedding their utmost priority. I can't thank them all enough for the wonderful service and kindness they showed to me and my husband and all our guests. The attention to detail and all the trouble shooting they did to make sure everything ran like a dream was amazing. The food was divine - we had so many compliments from our friends, from the canapés to the main meal to the evening reception - great quality and quantity! The resident DJ had people dancing all night - he even got an encore from his adoring fans! The venue itself is fantastic - so quirky with so many different faces to it from ornate gardens to cosy log fires, to an eastern spa - so many settings for your photos. We loved it's uniqueness and homeliness. We had 5* treatment without any of the pretensions of an upmarket venue. I would not hesitate to heartily recommend this as a wedding venue, or indeed a venue for any special occasion. Can't wait to go back for our first wedding anniversary!

We had our wedding reception at the hotel (20/12/2011). A fantastic day all round. The staff were brilliant, the food amazing and in general a fantastic experience. Quite a few of my family stayed at the hotel the night before our wedding. They all thoroughly enjoyed their time. The food was very good, with the staff going out of their way to help and accommodate our needs.

The rooms were warm, spacious and well presented. The facilities at the hotel (e.g. gym and swimming pool) were excellent.

My family and I would recommend this hotel to anyone - simply "EXCELLENT".
Thank you very much!!

Room Tip: Request a room facing the North Wales hills. Fantastic views!!!

We had a fantastic Christmas party here last weekend. The function suite was beautifully decorated, the food was good and served on time, and the entertainment was great. Staff really go out of their way to make sure everything goes smoothly from initial booking through to service on the evening. Thank you very much!

We arrived on Sunday afternoon midway through lunch so understandably the pub / eating area / restaurant were very busy. Checked in smoothly and booked a table in the restaurant for later that evening. Took bags to room {9} which was warm and well presented, although the view from the window was quite poor, really. A quick dip in the pool and jacuzzi was folowed by a beer or two in the pub, then back to the room to prepare for the evening. The hotel was very clean and was laid out around a central courtyard, allowing access to the restaurant / spa area as well as the corridor leading to the rooms on the opposite side. Food was spot on, we had the sunday carvery and the wine was decent quality at a reasonable price. Breakfast the following morning was, suprise, suprise, as good as you`ll get anywhere and was only spoiled by the fact we had to check out soon afterwards! We stayed on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis which, for the price we paid, was great value for money. All hotel staff were courteous and helpful, particularly in the restaurant and on reception. I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends. Looking forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: There are no "bad" rooms here but some of the lower floor rooms have poor views out over s...

My company stayed at Grosvenor whilst attending a Christmas party night and it was fabulous!!! The food was lovely, the rooms were great, the whole atmosphere of the hotel was very Christmassy and the staff couldn't do enough to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you want to have a fun night out with your work colleagues. There was a drag act at the beginning which was all good fun and not OTT, the live band created a great atmosphere and then the bar stayed open to allow us to continue partying till the wee hours. We may be back there next year again!!! great night....

Room Tip: The rooms were all lovely even the standard rooms.
